The Simple Women's Daybook...

September 22, 2008…

Outside my Window...the sun is shinning and the trees are starting to shed there leaves, you know fall is on its way…

I am Thinking...about where to start and what to do first in my home…I have bought shelving units and need to organize and labels the containers for future use…

I am thankful for... God’s Love and Grace…this I can say again and again…for family, friends and the air we breathe…

From the kitchen...I have my slow cooker on with ribs and salad ingredients along with tea brewing for ice tea…

I am creating... a few quilts, doll clothes for the American dolls, gourds that I have saved to paint, scrapbooking pages of our new Granddaughter…Karcy Marie…I am going...outside to clean and then close up our pool before the leaves fall…

I am wearing...black jeans, navy & white stripe big shirt ( so comfortable) and again in bare feet…

I am reading...a cookbook by Giada…some very delicious food recipes …WOW!

I am hoping... and praying for our family to be safe and healthy…for them to know that they are all loved…

I am hearing...the TV is on in another room, the sound of my computer, and my thoughts surfacing as I write…

Around the house...the grass is cut and the plants are starting to fade away…such a sad thing to see when you know that snow is just around the corner…

One of my favorite things...is being outside in the fresh air and walk threw the woods looking for berries…

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Clean, scrapbook, shop, cook, laundry and anything else that happens to come up…Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
I would like to announce the birth of our Granddaughter…Karcy Marie…5 # 14 oz. on Sept. 15…She is absolutely the most beautiful baby you have ever seen…

Have a terrific day! Be sure to visit Peggy to read more daybooks and/or get the guidelines so you can participate, too! It’s a great way to meet kindred spirits.
