Color!!!

Don't you just fine these beautiful!!! I do as I think about the fabrics that I can buy in these colors and the quilts that I can create using these fabrics...There is so much out in the fabrics shops now days that can make your mind spin...but if you go in with a purpose in mind that narrows down the choices you want to make, then I think it is a win win situation...I always go for a way to make my choices work for me so I can still create and share with you all!!! Hope you find this entertaining and moving, so go today and enjoy the choices you make and put a smile on your face!!!

Cards

The subject is cards: not just any card... These are handmade card from your grandchildren... They are the special ones made with Love just for you! As you can see in this photo that my grandchildren made me one wishing for me to Get Well realy soon!!! This card means the world to me... And I wanted to share it with you...

Feburary of 2011...

With the candle burning and the color to inspire a great quilt in the making... I am looking forward to my next design...As I tend to have these moments to try something new... I always go back to the basic rules of design and that is to start with colors...from there I can draw or pick a design to do a mock up...if after looking through a multi image glass...and it takes on a new look for 2 or more images to merge then I am happy to cut and sew...presto a new quilt is born and the circle repeats itself again and again...just happy to express myself with some creativty and not waste my time just thinking about it...

Outside my window... the clouds are here and the fog has lifted...hope we get to have some sunshine today...

I am thinking...about my MRI results, I didn't realize that my docotrs office was closed today.

I am thankful for... for every Blessing that I and others have received from God today and every day...and so much more.

I am wearing... jeans with a jogging top and socks...with today being wash day, I need to get caught, then I will look better dressed!

I am remembering... family members that have passed on...I see there photos in hopes of making a record for our family heritage...I have also adde some stories to some of them that I remember...

I am going...load a quilt top to my quilting machine today and work on it as I have time...just enjoy the process...

I am currently reading... Debbie Macomber " Angels at Christmas"... still reading this one...

I am hoping... for my family to enjoy the memories that we share together and to have a lot more...

On my mind...is what to get my husband for his birthday! He is a hard one to buy for when he always says he needs nothing...

Noticing that...I need to go thru my recipes and get them on my computer and print out in a book for everyone in our family...

Pondering these words...God's Will...

From the kitchen... I am roasting a chicken in the oven with seasonings all over it...I love how the kitchen smells when something is in the oven...

Around the house...Seeing the snow melting outside, pool is filled with snow, and its time for a new mailbox...

Snow Is Keeping Me In!!!

The good side of this is I get to sew, sew and sew ... Laundry is in the washer and 1 load in the dryer so far. I have 2 quilt tops I want to work on this morning and quilt pieces to sew together to make another quilt top...Dinner will be in the crock pot for later...so now I have some free time to get things under way...

New ... coming to Walt Disney World is the Harry Potter Castle...not sure what it will be as far as a ride or a show or what...but none the less exciting to see new attractions being built for 2010.

As for American Idol show that was awesome...they have several tryouts everyday and at the end of the day the finals compete again for the winner... cooool show...

We had a blast for 10 days as our annual Christmas Vacation done our way!!!
