July 21, 2008…

Outside my Window...the daylight is showing, but I think it is going to rain again…

I am thinking...about getting my laundry done, birthday gifts bought, some gardening weeded along with planning the meals for the week…

I am thankful for... that I can still learn from my family and friends things that I thought could not be done, That in it self gives me hope to dream…I had to leave this in for another week as I am amazed by my family…

From the kitchen...well I am going to add the beef to the crock pot with southwestern seasonings…this I learned from our newest son-in-law when he and our daughter visited at Easter time…Delicious!!!

I am creating... a few scrapbooking pages each week to share with my family and my own books…I love to look back at these photo’s and see the growth…

I am going...to a children’s clothing store to buy a couple of outfits for my grandson’s BD for school…

I am wearing...blue jeans and a white t-shirt and again in barefeet…

I am reading...the old testament again…also a woodworking book, I need to make some bookshelves to organized and clean up the clutter of my books…

I am hoping... and praying for a safe delivery of our new grandchild…

I am hearing...the wind blowing the leaves…

Around the house...I have install lighting…I should say solar lights…in my plan in going green…someday to be off the grid…

One of my favorite things...the smell of fresh hung laundry…

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...
I am in search of anything that I can recycle, get rid of or find a new purpose for items that I have kept …

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...

Yum. Please do share the recipe.....

What a throwback picture.

My dream involving getting off grid involves a windmill.....I've wanted one since the 8th grade. Weird what we fixate on as kids, isn't it?

I enjoyed reading your Daybook. I've posted mine, too.
